| Q. What's the playing format for this year? |
| . |
- The division 4 teams (recreational teams NOT selected through a tryout process) will play their first round the second to last weekend of October (unlike previous years when they played on the first weekend of October), with the flight winners advancing to the semi's and finals on the following weekend. The division 3's (advanced, tryout based teams) will play on the first two weekends in November.

| Q. How do we enter the Association Cup? |

- In the back of the team manual provided each coach by CYSA there is an entry form. You can also obtain one by visiting the CYSA website at www.cysanorth.org.
|
| Q. Who pays for our entry into the Association Cup? |

- Well, that varies from league to league, but in most cases teams are expected to pay their own way. If your team happens to win your division at the District IX Cup Championships, the District will reimburse your team for its entry fee.

| Q. How do we enter the District IX Cup Championships? |
| . |
- You've come to the right place! Select "Registration" above to complete the registration process.
|
| Q. What does it cost to enter the District IX Cup Championships and who pays for my team? |
| . |
- The entry fee this year is $180 and as with the Association Cup, each team is responsible for their entry fee unless other arrangements have been made with your league. The entry fee may be paid by check or online with a credit card.
|
| Q. What happens if it rains (snows, etc)? |
| . |
- A decision will be made mid-week of the game week to play or not. If we elect not to play, the games will be rescheduled in the same locations and at the same times, one week later - baring unforeseen difficulties.
|
| Q. Does my team need to check in on game day and why? |
| . |
- A representative from each team is expected to check the team in prior to the first game. The players do NOT need to be present. The site officials need to verify that you are present and ready to play This also gives us an opportunity to notify you of any last minute schedule changes.
|
| Q. Are check-ins going to be handled differently this year? |
| . |
- Yes. Each team will be required to check in with their home league registrar the week of their cup. Upon verification of all paperwork, the registrar will provide you with a form showing that your team has been checked and is ready to play. You will need to present this at the site when you check in. This is VERY important. If any of the below items is missing, it will result in someone not being able to participate! Please check the rules posted elsewhere on this site, but in a nutshell:
- The team "goldenrod" (official roster)
- Any adds, transfers and releases (half sheet forms)
- Member passes for each player and coach of the team
- Proof of birth for each player. These cannot be hospital issued birth certificates!
